Our team at Community Hospital South is looking for a RN to help work as needed in the emergency room. ER nurses provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of the Hospital. In collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team, the ER RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and coordinates treatment plans. ER nurses always works as a team member within the entire facility and will help performs other duties as assigned.
Provides care to patients in the emergency room according to policy and procedure and care standards.
Maintains knowledge of medications, equipment, expected patient outcomes, and anticipated complications.
Coordinates patient care with multidisciplinary team.
Acts to protect and advance patient’s best interest.
Satisfactorily demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties outlined in this job description as well as continually demonstrates competency in performing the job duties.
Licensures & Experience
Current Registered Nurse Licensure with the State of Oklahoma required.
Minimum of one year experience in Med-Surg, Emergency, or ICU preferred.
BLS Healthcare required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS required within 120 days of hire.
Requires a current Registered Nurse Licensure in the State of Oklahoma and BLS certification. One year of experience in Med-Surg, Emergency, or ICU is preferred, with ACLS and PALS certifications required shortly after hire.
