Part-time 8AM-4:30PM, 2 days one week, one day the next week. Schedule will be every Friday but every other week works an additional day (Flexible) Independently performs low to high-risk diagnostic and interventional sonographic exams and assists in direct patient care within the structure of a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) or perinatal setting, utilizing established departmental guidelines and protocols. The Perinatal Sonographer is a member of a multidisciplinary team and will have interest and a greater degree of expertise in obstetric ultrasound. The Perinatal Sonographer will produce high quality images, can recognize normal and abnormal pathology, and provide summary findings to the Maternal Fetal Medicine Physicians. Why UnityPoint Health? Education: Graduate from an accredited Ultrasound Technology School or ARDMS registered with Ultrasound experience.
Requires graduation from an accredited Ultrasound Technology School and ARDMS registration in OB/GYN. Candidates should have at least one year of experience as an Ultrasound Tech, preferably in MFM, and CPR certification.
