The Role

This role offers an opportunity to work as an MRI Technologist performing advanced imaging procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist. You will use your technical skills to ensure patient safety and provide high quality diagnostic images. The position requires evening shifts and weekend work, ideal for candidates seeking a stable full-time role in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities: · Perform various Radiology Services procedures at a technical level without constant supervision

· Conduct a variety of imaging and documentation procedures including Radiology procedures

· Apply prescribed ionizing radiation and/or MRI for radiologic diagnosis

· Ensure patient safety protocols are followed

· Serve as first line interface with customers to meet their imaging needs

· Assist in the department of Radiology and support its functions

· Prioritize patient care and deliver high quality imaging services

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher
  • Radiology (1+ years)
  • 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Meditech ITS – Imaging
  • Meditech MRI – Medical Records
  • Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification/license in the state of New York (NY)
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
  • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)

Requirements

Requires an Associate degree or higher and at least one year of experience in Radiology and Meditech systems. Must hold a valid ARRT certification/license in New York and a BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
