Description

This contract position is on-site, offering a unique opportunity to serve patients while gaining valuable experience in a progressive medical practice environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert radiological assessments, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. As part of a dedicated team, you will contribute to the advancement of healthcare solutions while enjoying the vibrant community life Chattanooga has to offer.

Responsibilities

Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures and evaluate results Collaborate with medical teams to ensure optimal patient care Communicate findings to referring physicians and healthcare providers Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Participate in departmental meetings and quality assurance initiatives Stay up-to-date with advancements in radiology practices and technologies Engage in patient consultations and provide guidance on imaging options Mentor junior staff and provide educational resources when needed

Requirements

Valid MD or DO medical degree with a focus on Radiology Current state medical license to practice in Tennessee Experience in a clinical setting with diagnostic imaging Strong knowledge of radiological techniques and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to continuous professional development and learning Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p

Call: Monday-Friday (5p-7a) or weekends (7a-7a)

Duties: Diagnostic and interventional radiology services

Required Procedures

Biliary stents and drains, percutaneous nephrostomy, G-tube placement/change, J-tube reposition/change, chest tube, kyphoplasty, lumbar puncture, etc.

Support Staff: PAs

EMR: Epic

PACS: McKesson, Merge

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
