Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Student Nurse, you will provide vital, supervised patient care and support across diverse medical/surgical populations, leveraging your nursing education within a clinical setting.Every day you will deliver direct patient care, including personal hygiene and comfort, meticulously monitoring and documenting clinical activities, and ensuring a safe, organized environment through supply management and strict adherence to safety protocols.To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate compassion, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safe, compliant care while actively participating in quality improvement and accurately implementing delegated patient tasks.
Provides direct patient care as delegated by RN staff Monitors and records vital signs Assists in providing personal hygiene and physical care needs Accurately measures, records, and reports intake and output Obtains and records daily weight Performs blood glucose testing using blood glucose meter Job Requirements Required High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or High School GED General Studies, upon hire and Must be enrolled and attending nursing school(must present proof) and Has completed at least one clinical rotation in nursing school, upon hire Basic Life Support - CPR through the American Heart Association
Must be a high school graduate currently enrolled in nursing school with at least one completed clinical rotation. A Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification from the American Heart Association is required.
