About the role

Perform medical diagnoses and prescribe therapeutic or corrective measures in collaboration with physicians and residents. Lead quality and evidence-based care initiatives to optimize patient outcomes in the Cardiothoracic ICU.

  • **Night shift differential while on a DAY/NIGHT ROTATION: $7.00/hour **Night shift component of pay while on NIGHTS ONLY: $20,000/year Why work as a position with Main Line Health?   • Experience: 2 years Nurse Practitioner experience in Acute Care preferred. A minimum of 2 years nursing experience in clinical care, cardiology, surgical backgrounds preferred.

  • Licensure: Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) BLS certification required May require ACLS certification May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support) Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.

Requirements

Requires completion of a Nurse Practitioner program, an MSN, and CRNP licensure from the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners. Preferred experience includes 2 years as an NP in acute care and 2 years of clinical nursing in cardiology or surgical backgrounds.
