Substance Use Disorders are chronic illnesses, and treatment provided is based upon the presenting needs of the individual. We are seeking a part-time dedicated Intake/Admission Coordinator to conduct phone screening for possible admissions. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Conduct phone screenings for possible admissions · Document intake assessments in ECR · Collect supporting documentation from referents and patients to support decision to admit · Coordinate referral with the outreach team · Communicate appropriateness for admissions to our referents/partners in the community · Set up transportation requests Communicate with admission on expected admits Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Admissions.
Requires a high school diploma and preferably 1 to 3 years of experience with the substance use disorder population. Certification as a Recovery Peer Advocate or CASAC-T is preferred.
