Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures including PET/CT, SPECT, and cardiac imaging to assist radiologists in diagnosis. Responsibilities include administering radiopharmaceuticals, calibrating instrumentation, and maintaining department contamination standards.
Ability to demonstrate clinical experience performing a variety of nuclear medicine imaging. CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: ARRT(NM) or NMTCB registry required IEMA License in Nuclear Medicine CPR certification TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, stretching and lifting up to 50 pounds. Lifting patients weighing up to 300 pounds and placing them in appropriate positions for the operation of radiological equipment is required. Hearing within, or correctable to, normal range, vision correctable to 20/20 and manual dexterity for the operation of office equipment is required. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in an outpatient environment. PAY AND BENEFITS: The estimated pay range for this position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
