Responsibilities
- Under supervision of the Manager of Radiation Oncology, the Radiation Therapist provides direct application of clinical and technical expertise to patients in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist and with appropriate consideration of patient age.

- The compensation range for the role is $68.99- $76.53 hourly.

Qualifications
Minimum Education
- Satisfactory completion of a 24 month certificate program in Radiation Oncology, or equivalent.
- Minimum
- Experience: No experience required.
- Required
- Certification/Registration: Must have satisfactorily completed a 24 month course in Radiation Technology registered by AART, and/or currently holds a NYS license in Radiation Therapy. Ongoing and continuing BLS certification.
- Physical
- Requirements: Stands, walks and sits intermittently. Considerable mental strength required to work daily with cancer patients. Must be alert, in control of equipment, and observant of patient’s condition. Ability to lift and transfer patients using proper and safe techniques.

Ability to lift 10 lbs.
