The massage therapist is a specialist whose fundamental purpose is to enhance the quality of life for patients and families through the use of massage. This individual’s objectives are to determine and utilize therapeutic massage approaches which effectively aid in the restoration, maintenance, and improvement in psychosocial, physical, and spiritual health. The massage therapist serves as a role model in the leadership and delivery of patient/family focused care by integrating the role components of clinician, researcher, and consultant as each relates to the field of massage therapy. The massage therapist supports the processes of care delivery, referral, and staff training and development.
Monday – Friday, 8am - 4: 30pm, On-Call/Casual
