Assist physicians and surgical staff during Interventional Radiology and vascular procedures by managing the sterile field and patient preparation. Responsible for instrument sterilization, inventory management via the Envi portal, and maintaining room turnover standards.
Vascular Scrub Tech Assist physicians, RNs, and surgical staff during Interventional Radiology procedures. Procedural Support Set up sterile field: instruments, equipment, drapes, and solutions Prep patients (site disinfection) and pass instruments/supplies during procedures Transport patients to/from OR, including ID verification and stretcher prep Assist with patient transfer to post-op recovery Handle specimens for lab analysis and apply dressings Manage room turnover: bag soiled linen, dispose of instruments/supplies/sharps properly Equipment & Instrument Care Clean, inspect, and reassemble instruments; store per protocol Maintain sterilization logs and documentation Restock rooms and storage areas to standard Inventory & Supply Chain Manage inventory and ordering via Envi Ordering Portal Maintain par levels; submit/approve POs Liaise with device reps and physicians to ensure preferred items are stocked Organize stock/storage areas and maintain usage logs Team & Compliance Participate in care conferences and staff meetings; suggest process improvements Report procedural irregularities or policy deviations to supervisor Follow data security/privacy protocols (password confidentiality, secure workstation use, breach reporting)
