Psychiatrist – inpatient services
We are seeking a Psychiatrist to join our inpatient behavioral health team. This role is primarily focused on medication management and collaborative rounding within a fast‑paced inpatient setting. Nurse Practitioners handle the majority of daily rounding, so you must be comfortable working within a team-based workflow and providing oversight, support, and clinical leadership as needed.
This position includes every‑other‑weekend call, which is predictable and supported by NP coverage. The ideal candidate is autonomous yet highly collaborative, dependable with weekend responsibilities, flexible with site needs, and confident managing inpatient acuity.
As a Psychiatrist, you will diagnose, treat, and support individuals experiencing acute psychiatric conditions. You will develop treatment plans that incorporate medication management and evidence-based interventions, while coordinating closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive, trauma‑informed, patient‑centered care.

Engage in crisis intervention and trauma‑informed care during acute episodes.
Coordinate care with NPs, psychologists, social workers, counselors, and nursing staff.
Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
Stay current with evidence-based psychiatric practices and standards of care.

Every other weekend call schedule.
Requires an MD or DO degree, completion of a Psychiatry residency, and an unrestricted US license to practice. Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry is required, with a preference for subspecialty fellowship training.
