About the role

Assist with basic physical and psychosocial patient care within the Wisconsin CNA scope of practice. Communicate changes in patient status to the Registered Nurse and support pediatric, geriatric, and general patient populations.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Westfields Hospital & Clinic's Med/Surg department, you will assist with the basic care of patients within the Wisconsin CNA’s scope of practice, including psychosocial and physical needs that include:

Performing basic patient care responsibilities as assigned by the Registered Nurse (RN).

Communicating observed changes in patient status and responses to the RN.

Providing for the needs of the pediatric, geriatric and general patient populations.

Work Schedule

  • .5 (20 hours weekly) - Evening/Night Shift – Every 3rd weekend requirement.

  • Current CNA license in the state of Wisconsin
  • BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in EPIC computer system
  • Prior hospital experience

Requirements

Must possess a current CNA license in the state of Wisconsin and BLS certification. Prior hospital experience and familiarity with the EPIC computer system are preferred.
