About the role

Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy and case management to adults with severe mental illness. Responsible for completing treatment plans, assessments, and clinical documentation within strict deadlines.

Description Greater Nashua Mental Health is looking for a Therapist to join our Adult Services team! The Therapist provides psychotherapy to a caseload of adults diagnosed with severe mental illness, with the goal to empower clients to lead full and satisfying lives. Delivers consultation and education to staff, other agencies, and the community. Meets with individuals primarily in a therapy office setting with occasional home and community-based outreach.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provides individual, group, and family psychotherapy as applicable, as well as case management services, to clients for a percentage of time per week as appropriate for position and as directed by supervisor Completes all treatment plans, Adult Needs and Strength Assessments (ANSA), and Case Management Care Plans (CMCP) by due date listed in EMR Completes all Quarterly Reviews within a two-week window of the end date of the quarter being reviewed. Completes all other documentation within 3 business days (with first day being date of service/completion) Communicates professionally and effectively with colleagues, collateral contacts, supervisors, etc. regarding client care Prepares for and attends meetings, including team meetings (1x weekly), therapists' meeting (1x weekly), department meetings (monthly), supervision meetings (1x weekly), etc Manages and responds to email, voicemail, etc. in a timely and professional manner Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field Familiarity with community resources Ability to teach effectively Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.) Strong collaborating skills and an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated and proactive Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and be flexible with regard to workload and assignments Ability to exercise sound judgment Must have active driver's license and automobile with liability insurance in the agency's minimum amounts Why Join Us: We are looking for collaborative, curious for knowledge people with a “can do” mentality to join our team of compassionate employees!
