In addition to having strong clinical skills, Hospice Nurses are “teachers” – helping patients identify their own personal goals of care and helping caregivers have confidence in caring for their family member. They are specialists in symptom management, requiring excellence in assessment and critical thinking. Primary RN’s have an assigned caseload of patients and lead the interdisciplinary team caring for those patients. We provide care wherever our patients call home - private homes, nursing homes, group homes or assisted living facilities.
Requires a current Colorado RN license, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license with insurance. Preference is given to candidates with 1-2 years of experience in home health, hospice, or acute care.
Market context
Colorado nursing roles like this often draw steady demand from home health and hospice settings, where employers look for RNs who can work independently and manage patient care in the field. These positions are competitive because a current Colorado RN license, prior nursing experience, reliable transportation, and familiarity with HCHB can all strengthen an application.
