Minimum Qualifications

  • Current certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice within the United States.
  • Master’s degree in Nurse-Midwifery or a related advanced nursing program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME).
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in diverse healthcare settings including hospitals, birthing centers, and community clinics.
  • Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or certification in lactation consulting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
  • Strong background in patient education and community outreach programs.
  • Bilingual abilities or experience working with culturally diverse populations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care to women, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
