Father Joe's Villages is hiring for both Medical Assistant I and Medical Assistant II positions. Candidates will be hired at the level that best aligns with their qualifications, experience, certifications, and demonstrated competencies.
Additional Profile for Medical Assistant II
Minimum of two (2) years of Medical Assistant experience in an ambulatory, outpatient, primary care, specialty care, or integrated healthcare setting required.
Experience supporting care coordination activities, including medication reconciliation, refill workflows, care gap identification, referrals, follow-up, and related communication.
Experience supporting specialty services, medication administration, immunizations, injections, laboratory operations, and required logs
Experience with laboratory services, specimen collection and processing, and/or phlebotomy is strongly preferred.
This is a full-time position based within the Village Health Center, an integrated Federally Qualified Health Center serving individuals experiencing homelessness and other medically underserved populations. Work is performed in a fast-paced clinical environment and involves collaboration with medical providers, behavioral health clinicians, laboratory staff, care teams, and support staff to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care. While the typical schedule is Monday through Friday, occasional schedule adjustments may be required to support clinic operations, patient care needs, specialty services, and organizational priorities.
Compensation & Benefits
$21.00 to $23.30 per hour
$23.00 to $25.30 per hour
Wages are paid out bi-weekly. Final placement including level (MA I or MA II) and starting pay rate will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, certification status, and internal equity considerations.
