Coastal Health is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing Spine & Pain team in Yulee, Florida. Our providers deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care using the latest treatments and technology to help patients manage acute and chronic pain. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and medication reconciliation Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during office visits and procedures Administer injections and perform other clinical duties within scope of practice Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) Coordinate patient care, referrals, authorizations, and follow-up appointments Answer patient questions and provide education as directed by providers Maintain exam rooms, clinical supplies, and equipment Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards Work collaboratively with providers and staff to ensure exceptional patient care Qualifications Current Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) Previous experience in a medical office required; Spine & Pain, Orthopedics, or specialty practice experience preferred Proficiency with EMR systems Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused attitude Current BLS/CPR certification preferred Why Coastal Health? Requirements

Candidates should have previous medical office experience and a Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is preferred. BLS/CPR certification and proficiency with EMR systems are also desired.
