Medical Assistant II - Certified

Location: Waterville

Schedule: Per Diem

Shift: Days

  • What You'll Do
  • As an MA II on our Primary Care team, you’ll play a key role in keeping visits running smoothly while supporting both patients and providers.
  • Clinical Responsibilities
  • Assists with collecting statistics and prepares patient for visit and medical staff
  • Prepare patients for visits and assist providers during examinations
  • Assists with basic diagnostic procedures and performs specimen collection as required
  • Communicates observed changes in patient condition to medial staff for assessment
  • Administrative & Support Duties
  • Documents patient care given
  • Performs duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, scribing, data entry, prior authorization, and patient registration
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting
  • Maintains examination areas

What We're Looking For • Previous Work Experience

  • Work experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Certification: Certified by an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Education: Possession of an associate degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited school.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to balance clinical and administrative responsibilities

Compensation information

$20.65 - $36.14

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
