Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8hr day shift As a hybrid Kidney/Pancreas Transplant Pharmacist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California will maintain the quality and support of highly immunocompromised patients requiring high level of specialized services.
The Kidney/Pancreas Transplant Pharmacist will help manage nephrology consults, pre-transplant infusions for highly sensitized patients, post-transplant infusion patients , and cover in-patient services including managing non-formulary requests.
The Pharmacist will be responsible for entering therapy plans, conduct chart reviews, compose letters of medical necessity as well as participate in peer-to-peer reviews for denied insurance claims.
The Pharmacist will also participate with in-patient rounding which would include discharge teachings, medication reconciliation, ordering and coordinating last minute medication changes prior to discharge. #LI-RD1 Why work here?

Requires a Pharm.D. or equivalent degree and current pharmacist licensure in the State of California. Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency is preferred along with BLS certification.
