We are seeking a Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) to join our busy outpatient cardiology team located in our Palm Beach Gardens office. The ideal candidate will have experience performing 12-lead EKGs and assisting with cardiac stress testing procedures, including treadmill, pharmacologic (Lexiscan), nuclear, and stress echocardiograms.
Perform accurate 12-lead EKGs Assist with stress testing (Bruce, Modified Bruce, Lexiscan, nuclear) Measure and record blood pressure during procedures Start and manage IV lines (or become proficient within 6 months) Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after testing Recognize cardiac rhythms, artifacts, and ischemic changes Maintain clean and functional testing areas and equipment
High school diploma or equivalent Current BLS certification (AHA required) Completion of EKG training or equivalent experience Prior EKG or cardiac testing experience required Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable and detail-oriented Knowledge of cardiac medications and testing protocols preferred Cardiographic Tech Certification (CCT)
Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently Frequent standing and walking during procedures
