One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Unit Clerk/Nurse's Aide, you will provide essential support to the nursing team, ensuring continuous, vigilant patient monitoring, and fostering collaborative relationships for quality healthcare services.Every day you will proficiently use the H.I.S. computer system, serve as a unit representative, greet patients, maintain census logs, and support team members in the care of adult patients.

You will also actively build collaborative relationships across disciplines.To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care, meticulous attention to detail for monitoring, and proficiency in healthcare information systems.

You will take responsibility for your competency, continuously evaluate performance, and stay informed of developments in nursing and your clinical specialty.

Demonstrates basic patient-care skills, including but not limited to patient hygiene (bathing, grooming, oral and perineal care, backrubs, etc.) Measures vital signs, weights, and I&O accurately.

Safely ambulates, lifts, moves and transports patients as delegated.

Positions patients and performs range of motion exercises.

Reports observations regarding patient status to the RN.

Demonstrates proper aseptic technique Job Requirements Required Acute care experience within the last two years. or Nurse assistants/unit clerks without acute care experience within the last two years will be considered on an individualbasis Completion of unit clerk class or Equivalent work experience Certified Nursing Assistant: CA CNA Basic Life Support - CPR BLS, within 30 Days

Requires a CA CNA certification and BLS/CPR certification within 30 days. Candidates should have acute care experience within the last two years or completion of a unit clerk class.
