About the role

Provide direct medical and programmatic nursing care to clients experiencing behavioral health crises. Develop goal-directed care plans for minor medical issues and oversee personnel providing medical care.

Crisis Center Medical Technician As a Medical Technician you will focus on providing direct medical and programmatic nursing care to clients who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This position works with clients during the admission process to determine continued eligibility and develop a goal- directed plan of care for any minor medical issues. The Crisis Medical Technician will participate in the client’s healthcare education and provide direct oversight to personnel who provide medical care to clients experiencing a behavioral health crisis. The staff at our Youth Community Crisis Center work as part of an interdisciplinary team focusing on crisis intervention skills to de-escalate, treat and stabilize behavioral health needs of individuals.

Requirements

Must hold an ID EMS/EMT, LP, or RN license and have experience working with severely or chronically mentally ill populations. Requires satisfactory results from enhanced fingerprinting and background checks.
