New Leaf| 8 Fountain Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11208 What You’ll Do Do you want to help families experiencing homelessness get their lives back on track? If so, this is the job for you! As a Client Care Coordinator at our newly opened New Leaf shelter for families with children, you’ll help families in crisis with mental health, domestic violence, and substance abuse counseling; work with children who have experienced trauma and may have other special needs; and fortify the strengths of each family. You’ll complete psychosocial assessments and participate in our multidisciplinary team approach to service to ensure positive outcomes for the families we serve. And you’ll gain supervised clinical hours needed to advance in your career.

You’re a great fit for this role if you have: Current LMSW or LMHC license. Compassion and respect for parents and children who are experiencing homelessness. Knowledge of child and adolescent development, emotional/behavioral health, mental health, parent-child relationship family dynamics, and diagnostic classification.

It would be helpful (but not required) if you have: Bilingual (English/Spanish), since many of our clients are native Spanish speakers. Compensation Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage, prevailing wage, or exempt salary requirements under federal, state and local laws. We Have GREAT BENEFITS! Requirements

Requires a current LMSW or LMHC license and a Master's degree. Candidates must have knowledge of child development, behavioral health, and family dynamics, with bilingual skills in Spanish preferred.
