Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) – Neurology $30–$40/hr based on experience, skills, and credentials + Up to $3,000 Hiring Bonus Full-time opportunity in Shoreline, WA Schedule: Full-time, 4-day work week.

Monday–Wednesday, 8:00am–7:00pm or Tuesday–Friday, 8:00am–7:00pm.

Animal Medical Center of Seattle is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our growing Neurology team.

This position is ideal for technicians who enjoy advanced medicine, anesthesia, diagnostic imaging, and providing exceptional care to complex neurological patients.

Why Join Animal Medical Center of Seattle (AMCS) At AMCS, part of Ethos Veterinary Health, you'll work alongside our Neurology specialists, playing an essential role in patient monitoring, advanced diagnostics, anesthesia support, client communication, and treatment administration.

Our Neurology service provides advanced diagnostics, medical management, and surgical treatment for patients with complex neurological conditions, utilizing cutting-edge imaging and specialty care resources.

VTS credentialed technicians, or those interested in pursuing a VTS, are strongly encouraged to apply.

In your day-to-day, you will: Assist neurologists with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments Monitor and care for patients with neurological disorders Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia patients, maintaining accurate anesthesia and treatment records Calculate and administer medications as directed, and promptly communicate patient status changes to veterinarians Assist with MRI and CT imaging procedures, and obtain diagnostic radiographs while following all safety regulations Perform laboratory testing, including CBC differentials, urinalysis, fecal exams, cytology, and cross-matching procedures Educate pet owners regarding treatment plans and home care Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture What You Bring Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) preferred; experienced Veterinary Assistants with a minimum of 2 years of veterinary hospital experience are encouraged to apply Minimum 2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting Strong anesthesia skills required; specialty and neurology experience preferred; experience with MRI and CT imaging is a plus Strong patient care, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care; fluent English speaking and reading skills required Perks & Benefits Benefits for this role may include health insurance (medical, dental, vision), retirement benefits, paid time off (including sick leave and vacation), short-term and long-term disability, and life insurance Competitive compensation Hiring bonus up to $3,000, plus relocation assistance for qualified candidates Health, dental, and vision insurance, plus life insurance CE allowance and professional development support, including $750 annually for LVTs and $1,000 annually for VTS technicians, plus career growth and specialty training opportunities Paid time off Retirement savings options (401(k) with company match) Employee Assistance Program with therapy and counseling services, licensing fee reimbursement, uniform allowance, and discounted pet care after 30 days Location Highlight Shoreline, WA offers a quieter, residential feel just minutes north of Seattle, with easy access to Puget Sound, local parks, and the city's amenities without the downtown price tag or congestion.
