Duties: & responsibilities:
· Performs satisfactory exams.
· Uses two (2) patient identifiers when greeting patients.
· Has knowledge and use of ALARA principles.
· Reconciles images and paperwork in PACS.
· Cleans patient care equipment and surfaces.
· Uses PPE properly.
· Communicates effectively with staff and patients.
· Works with Leads and radiologists to meet department needs.
· Completes QA and QC as needed.
· Stock supplies and notifies Leads if supplies are needed.
· Schedules patients and provides preps as needed.
Qualifications: · ARRT (R)(CT)
· WA DOH Radiologic Technologist Certification: · AHA BLS certified within 30 days of hire and maintain while employed
· Associate's degree or higher
· 1+ year of CT experience
This position is primarily worked in a clinical environment.
The position will require the ability to lift, and carry, up to 50 pounds and push or pull over 50 pounds.
The position will require bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, reaching overhead, sitting and standing frequently.
Occasionally the position requires climbing, kneeling and crawling.
The position requires continuous finger dexterity and fine manipulation.
All basic life functions such as hearing, seeing, speaking, standing and walking are required.
