Evaluate and treat patients with acute orthopedic injuries and complex musculoskeletal trauma through operative and non-operative management. Collaborate with multidisciplinary trauma teams to coordinate comprehensive care and provide long-term follow-up for patients.
Inova Orthopedics is looking for a dedicated Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join the team at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus/ Inova Loudoun or Inova Alexandria Hospital.
This role will be full-time Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance eligible.
Orthopedic patients find world-class treatment for complex musculoskeletal conditions at the Inova Orthopedic Trauma and Fracture Care Program, part of the Inova Trauma Center.
The Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is Northern Virginia’s only Level 1 trauma center.
Many of our patients transfer to Inova from other healthcare facilities located throughout the mid-Atlantic and region and beyond.
Inova Loudoun Hospital is an accredited Level 2 trauma center and Inova Alexandria is moving toward trauma accreditation.

Work/Life Balance: offering paid time off and paid parental leave Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon Job Responsibilities: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal trauma.
Perform operative and non-operative management of fractures involving the upper and lower extremities, pelvis, acetabulum, and other complex musculoskeletal injuries.
Participate in trauma call coverage and provide timely consultation for emergency department and inpatient trauma cases.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, peer review, and patient safety programs.
Supervise and educate advanced practice providers, residents, fellows, and medical students, as applicable.
Maintain compliance with hospital bylaws, accreditation standards, and applicable federal and state regulations.
Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and continuing medical education activities.
Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon
Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience: 1+ year physician experience in Orthopedic Trauma
