As a Locum Anesthesiologist, you will play a vital role in providing anesthetic care for patients undergoing cardiac procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout their surgical experience. Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing cardiac procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to determine anesthetic protocols Provide preoperative assessments and consultations Manage postoperative care and address any complications Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board certification in Anesthesiology Valid medical license in the state of Louisiana Experience in cardiac anesthesiology preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Commitment to patient-centered care and safety Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
No call required
Care team model with slight supervision of CRNAs
