The Vascular Radiologic Technologist Specialist in conjunction with other team members provides direct specialized care to patients in the Invasive Vascular Lab and Cardiac Cath Lab.
This position operates and maintains specialized interventional vascular catheterization equipment for use in diagnosing and treating vascular circulatory disease in the Invasive Vascular Lab in Cardiovascular Services.
This position assists vascular surgeons and cardiologists in procedures by scrubbing, monitoring, and circulation duties.

Graduate of an approved Radiology Technologist program. EXPERIENCE:
One year of Radiology “special procedures” or cardiac cath experience. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Current Iowa Permit to Practice.
Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.
Requires graduation from an approved Radiology Technologist program and one year of experience in special procedures or cardiac cath. Must hold a current Iowa Permit to Practice and BLS/ACLS certifications.
