$20.65/Hourly

This is a grant-Funded position funded until june 30, 2027. The funding may be extended pending funding availability.

Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager for the Shelby County Relative Caregiver Program, the Family Advocate Counselor performs intakes, referrals, home visits, case management, maintaining client records (files), planning, organizing events, and facilitating the Boys/Girls mentoring group both in person and via zoom monthly This position exists to support and assist caregivers in determining specific needs and obtaining needed support with projects resources through the network and /or other providers. This position will allow hands-on contact with individuals and families through home and office visits.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree with two years of experience working with children and families, or a Master's degree with one year of experience. A valid driver's license is mandatory for travel within Shelby County.
