UHS Binghamton General Hospital is hiring a Mental Health Technician. This role provides direct patient care supporting the biopsychosocial rehabilitation of patients in a Behavioral Health setting. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, addressing environment‑of‑care and safety needs, utilizing therapeutic communication, and co‑facilitating group activities. Strong communication skills are essential.

• Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Human Services or 4 years of experience in a Mental Health related field or inpatient hospital setting and completion of Abnormal Psych within 2 years of hire.
