Responsibilities

• Provide patient care services within approved delineation of privileges under physician supervision.
• Perform fluoroscopic procedures, including barium studies.
• Assist supervising physician with radiologic procedures and patient management; maintain efficient patient flow.
• Conduct image-guided procedures, such as joint injections (fluoroscopy or ultrasound), biopsies (ultrasound/CT guidance), and post-procedure monitoring.
• Place abscess drains using ultrasound or CT guidance and perform related pre/post-procedure care.
• Maintain confidentiality of protected health information and ensure compliance with Medical Staff Bylaws, hospital policies, and regulatory standards; respond effectively to emergencies.

Requirements

• Ability to provide age-appropriate patient care across the lifespan under physician supervision.
• Ability to perform fluoroscopic procedures and image-guided interventions within approved privileges.
• Strong patient assessment and peri-procedural care skills; ability to manage patient flow in the interventional radiology setting.
• Commitment to patient safety, PHI confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology environment in Watertown, NY; available for a 8:00 am–4:30 pm shift (8x5) and travel assignment.
