The Therapist position with the Family Based Intervention Program encompasses direct clinical services to children ages 3 to 18 their families, and adult clients.
The direct clinical services provided by the FBI Therapist include therapy and case management services for client/client’s families and coordination with community collaborators on behalf of clients.
The therapist may provide individual, group and family clinical services to clients in their home and out in the community.
The therapist represents the program and agency at internal and external meetings.
The therapist completes Medicaid documentation and other basic core responsibilities.
On a day to day basis this therapist may find themselves facilitating an individual session with a child, a family session with their family, teaching parenting skills, advocating for the child with their school or other community resources, interacting with a DCFS worker, teaching social skills to the client, completing IM+CANS, or other Medicaid paperwork.
Flexibility is an important quality for this worker to possess.

Requires a Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, along with a professional license (LCPC or LCSW). Candidates must have experience working with youth and families in home settings and the ability to transport themselves and clients.
