We're seeking a compassionate and motivated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Alma, MI. You'll work with patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or hospitalization, helping them regain independence and improve their quality of life.
Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Assist patients in improving activities of daily living (ADLs), functional mobility, strength, coordination, and independence. Document patient progress accurately and timely. Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, nursing staff, and physicians to deliver exceptional patient care. Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and safety strategies.
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current Michigan Occupational Therapy Assistant license. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Experience in post-acute rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or geriatric care is preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Why Join Concept Rehab?
