At Medi-Weightloss of Kyle, you'll anchor our Saturday clinic and step in to cover sick days, vacations, and other planned or unplanned absences for our full-time providers — all while working with motivated patients who are genuinely committed to their health journey. This role is ideal for a provider who wants steady, predictable per diem hours (roughly 4–12 hours a week) with the flexibility of a variable schedule, in a supportive, low-stress, med-spa-style environment.

What You’ll Do Serve as the primary Saturday provider, and be available on an on-call basis to cover other shifts during teammate absences (sick days, vacation, PTO, etc.) Conduct comprehensive initial consultations and assessments for new patients Perform focused histories, physical examinations, vitals, and body composition analysis Conduct urinalysis, EKGs, phlebotomy, and administer IM injections Order, review, and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures Provide preventive counseling, nutrition guidance, and comprehensive program education Prescribe and manage medications (including FDA-approved appetite suppressants) per collaborative agreement and state/federal guidelines Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and conduct follow-up care calls Ensure every patient receives outstanding service by maintaining a friendly environment and greeting patients warmly Document all procedures, progress notes, and patient data thoroughly in the EMR Occasional coordination support in a small clinic environment

Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives Serve as a clinical resource and help coordinate complex patient requests Contribute to enhancing the overall patient experience Mentor and support clinical staff as needed Who You Are Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Texas Available to work Saturdays as the primary coverage day Able to be on call to cover sick days, vacations, and other absences with reasonable notice Truly passionate about preventive care, obesity medicine, and transforming patients’ lives Strong communicator who enjoys building meaningful, long-term patient relationships Compassionate provider who thrives in an uplifting, patient-centered environment Interested in exercise, fitness, and nutrition (a big plus) Experience with or interest in GLP-1 therapies and FDA-approved pharmacotherapy for obesity medicine is a plus Work Schedule Saturday: 8 AM - 1 PM Additional per diem shifts: as needed to cover sick days, vacations, and other absences on weekdays (Tuesday–Friday), based on clinic hours below. Clinic Hours Monday: Closed Tuesday: 12 PM – 6:00 PM Wednesday: 7 AM – 12:00 PM Thursday: 12 PM – 6:00 PM Friday: 8 AM – 12:00 PM Saturday: 8 AM – 1:00 PM Sunday: Closed Work Setting In-person, private practice clinic with a welcoming med-spa atmosphere.
