Primary
Responsibilities: The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role with primary responsibilities that include patient vitals, EKG, phlebotomy, vitamin injections and front office duties. We value team players with clinical skills and experience in insurance and Verification of benefits. Exercise knowledge a plus.
Clinical
Duties:
Obtain patient vitals, EKG, and perform phlebotomy.
Administer IM injections and GLP injections.
Prepare laboratory order forms and obtain patient laboratory results.
Assist physicians or mid-level practitioners with patient referrals to other healthcare professionals.
Document patient progress notes in the patient chart and/or EMR.
Conduct follow-up calls to patients to discuss progress and address concerns.
Perform other clinical duties as required.
Medical Assistant certification.
Clinical experience in EKG and phlebotomy. At-least 4 years of experience with Phlebotomy and Vitamin Injections and GLP injections is must.
Front office experience, including insurance and Verification of benefits
Prior experience and training in exercise (a plus).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary: [$19 to $22 per hour, Commensurate with Experience]
