This position offers meaningful clinical impact, schedule stability, and the opportunity to care for America’s Veterans within a collaborative, mission-driven environment. The Beckley VAMC is a Joint Commission–accredited, complexity level II facility serving Veterans across 11 counties in southern West Virginia. Position Overview The Radiologist will provide comprehensive Radiology and Nuclear Medicine services to Veterans across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency care within one of the facility’s largest clinical departments, encompassing Interventional Radiology, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology, and PACS. Radiology demand in West Virginia

Radiologist roles in West Virginia often reflect steady demand for physicians who can cover specialty imaging needs, especially when a Neuro Fellowship is required. These positions can be competitive because employers typically screen for an active West Virginia license, board certification, DEA registration, and recent credentialing documents, while travel, malpractice insurance, and lodging are common benefits. Before applying, confirm your fellowship training and gather a Self-Query NPDB report from the last 30 days; job requirements and benefits here are AI-summarized from the original posting to save research time.
