As a Locum MD or DO, you will provide comprehensive medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments to patients in a primary care setting. Your role will include collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes, adhering to best practices and guidelines in the industry.
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses Provide preventive care and health education to patients Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the practice Stay current with medical guidelines and practices Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Active medical license in the state of practice Experience in a primary care setting is preferred Strong clinical skills and patient management abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Commitment to providing compassionate patient care Knowledge of electronic health record systems is a plus
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-4:30p
Daily Volume: Up to 10 per day, including some possible telehealth appointments
Will treat chronic medical problems such as diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, degenerative arthritis, depression, congestive heart failure, angina, and pain
EMR: CPRS
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
