Assists residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene. Assists residents in preparing for and transporting to and from medical appointments, activities, and social programs. Checks residents' vital signs, measures weight and height, and records data as instructed; reports any variances to Charge Nurse. Answers resident call lights promptly to attend to needs; frequently checks those who are unable to call for help. Performs restorative and rehabilitative procedures, as instructed. Assists residents to walk with or without self-help devices, as instructed.
Requires Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License for PA. Requires applicable state license. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement.
