Provide a level of care that goes beyond the traditional urgent care setting Ensure comprehensive care for patients of all ages Procedures to include EKG and X-ray interpretation, abscess incision and drainage, infection management, reduction of dislocations, splinting of minor fractures, laceration repair, IV hydration, and medication administration Serve as a role model and leader for the clinical team Communicate test results, follow-up care, and treatment plans Effectively communicate and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers Work with an energetic, highly-trained support team, including many shifts with a scribe
Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (with pediatric experience) preferred Licensed in state of practice Experience with procedures such as suturing and abscess I&D Experience with reading diagnostics studies, including X-rays and EKGs Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care highly preferred ACLS and PALS Certification preferred
