Overview Registered Nurse – Med Surg Tele in Morrisville, Vermont. Start date 08/10/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Weekly pay ranges from $2,107 to $2,225, with a Nights/Rotating shift. Work in an inpatient medical-surgical telemetry unit in a care setting that emphasizes direct patient care, teamwork, and adherence to nursing standards.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care to adults using the Nursing Process within the unit’s standards of care.
  • Administer prescribed medications, monitor responses, manage IV therapy, and document in the chart.
  • Perform ongoing assessments, interpret vital signs and labs, and adjust care plans in collaboration with the care team.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort, maintain infection control practices, and uphold documentation accuracy in the electronic health record.
  • Collaborate with physicians, case managers, therapists, and other disciplines; participate in rounds and discharge planning.
  • Demonstrate nursing leadership by delegating tasks to other staff and supervising care within scope of practice.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, nursing standards, and unit-specific policies, including de-escalation when needed.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in Vermont or eligibility to obtain VT licensure
  • Active ACLS, BLS, PALS (or ENPC), and de-escalation training required to be active prior to contract start; if not, a booked course is required at Clinical Orientation
  • Graduation from an accredited RN program (ADN or BSN preferred)
  • Ability to work Nights and rotating schedule; able to function in an inpatient Med Surg Telemetry setting
  • Experience in Med Surg Telemetry or inpatient care is preferred
