Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job

• $3,706–$3,873 per week
• Guaranteed hours: 48 hours per week

• Night shift, 4x12-hour nights (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.)
• Start date: 07/27/2026
• Setting: Inpatient obstetric care in an acute-care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients and newborns, ensuring safety and comfort
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, interpret fetal heart rate tracings, and respond to changes promptly
• Assist during labor and delivery, support postpartum care, and participate in newborn care as needed
• Administer medications and analgesia per protocol; manage IV therapy and fluid balance
• Maintain sterile technique, assist with obstetric procedures, and support the care team during emergencies
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record; communicate clearly with the obstetric team and patient-family as appropriate

Requirements

• Active RN license in Massachusetts (or eligibility per state regulations)
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications (current at time of assignment)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.) and maintain a 48-hour weekly schedule
• Competence in obstetric emergencies and in delivering safe, evidence-based obstetric care
