Responsibilities: Essential

Assists the doctor in procedures Operated x-ray equipment and takes x-rays Prophy teeth Instructs patients on oral hygiene Chart and treatment plan with doctor Sterilizes instruments Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment Take IO's Charting
Education and/or Experience: Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred BIlingual in Spanish, preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: X-Ray Certification Coronal Polish Certification is plus Current BLS certification Inflection Control Certification California Dental Practice Act Certification
Candidates must hold a California Registered Dental Assistant License, X-Ray Certification, and Coronal Polish Certification. A current BLS certification is required, while Sealant Certification and Spanish bilingualism are preferred.
