Shared Medical Technology (SMT), now proudly part of Heritage Imaging, has been a trusted leader in providing exceptional diagnostic imaging services to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare organizations throughout the Midwest for many years. Our mission is simple: deliver high-quality imaging services while bringing compassionate care directly to the communities that need it most. We're looking for a dedicated Echo Technologist to join our growing team! In this role, you'll provide echocardiography services to rural hospitals and clinics throughout the Eau Claire area, helping patients receive quality cardiac imaging close to home.

What You'll Do

Perform high-quality echocardiograms and related cardiac imaging procedures. Ensure patient comfort and safety while explaining procedures with compassion and professionalism. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnosis and patient care. Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements. Maintain equipment and uphold quality assurance standards. Stay current with advances in echocardiography and imaging technology. General and vascular ultrasound experience is a plus!

Qualifications

Registered or Registry Eligible Echo Technologist (RDCS, RCS, or equivalent). Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology. Previous echocardiography experience in a clinical or hospital setting. Understanding of infection prevention and aseptic techniques. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team.

Your Workday

Monday through Friday, you'll travel to SMT partner hospitals and clinics throughout the Eau Claire and surrounding communities. Every day offers something different—new locations, new patients, and the opportunity to bring essential cardiac imaging services directly to rural healthcare facilities.
