About the role

As a Locum CRNA, you will administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures while collaborating with surgical teams. You will also conduct pre-anesthesia assessments, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and manage post-anesthesia care.

This contract position offers an exceptional opportunity to work in a dynamic medical practice environment, providing critical care and support to patients undergoing various procedures.

As a Locum CRNA, you will play an integral role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with surgical teams. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of providing excellent patient outcomes in a fast-paced medical setting. Compensation is competitive, with a salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare team members to evaluate patient needs Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and provide patient education regarding the anesthesia process Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in the operating room Manage post-anesthesia care and address any complications Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia procedures and patient records Stay current with advancements in anesthesia techniques and technologies

Requirements

Active CRNA license in the state of Florida Prior experience in an anesthesiology practice preferred Strong understanding of anesthesia pharmacology Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team Commitment to continuous professional development Bachelor's degree in Nursing and completion of an accredited nurse anesthesia program Level I Trauma and Level I Pediatric Trauma

Schedule: 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts

582 med/surg beds, 40 ICU beds

39 onsite anesthetizing locations

Diverse caseload

Must be comfortable with pediatric patients

Care team model

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
