Supports the patient care team by performing direct patient care under the supervision of RNs and LPNs. Responsibilities include collecting specimens and assisting physicians and nurses with designated procedures.
Supports the patient care team by performing direct patient care, under the direction of a Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse. According to established procedures, collects, and performs limited tests or specimens per physician order. Assists physician and nurse with designated procedures.
Requirements: One (1) of the following:
1.Certified Medical Assistant
2. STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant)
3. Current enrollment in RN program (BSN/ADN) and must have successfully completed first clinical rotation.
4. One (1) year of direct patient care or nurse aide experience that must include vital signs, bathing, and ambulating will be considered in lieu of certification/education.
Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours per week, 7p-7a
Every third weekend and holiday rotation
