About the role

The LCAS provides individualized, recovery-focused care and education for clients struggling with substance use. Key duties include conducting assessments, facilitating group therapy, and participating in a 24/7 crisis management rotation.

At Southeastern Integrated Care (SEIC), our mission is “to improve the lives we serve with comprehensive integrated health services, not bound by convention.” We are seeking a full-time Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS, A) in southeastern, NC, to support our team and help others in getting a second chance. Openings in Lumberton, Pembroke, and Shallotte.

*Sign-on bonus: LCAS or LCAS-A is $2,000

Your impact on the team’s mission

The substance use services at SEIC are individualized and recovery focused to promote the development of wellness and support personal recovery in clients on their journey. The LCAS provides care and education on substance-use and tracks stages of readiness through treatment.

Some of the daily activities you would do as the LCAS (A) are

Conducting substance-use assessments.

Facilitating group therapy sessions.

Participating in the 24/7 crisis management rotation.

Taking the lead in short/long term placements and detox services.

Sensitivity to the needs of individuals with MH/SA/IDD concerns is necessary.

Position details, compensation, and benefits!

This position is Monday – Friday, day shift (1st) with afternoon and early evening flexibility as needed for team and client needs and group sessions.   • *Bonus payout is in 3 installments. $500 at successful completion of 3 months and 6 months in full-time employment status and $1,000 at successful completion of 12-months in full-time employment status.

  • Lcas, lcasa, ccs, csi
  • A current driver's license, valid insurance, and reliable transportation for any work travel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed!

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree and current NC licensure as an LCAS, LCAS-A, CCS, or CSI. A valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation are also required.
