Provide individual, group, and family therapy within a residential substance treatment facility. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Provides individual, group and/or family therapy in a residential treatment setting Conducts comprehensive assessments, develops treatment plans and implements evidenced-based interventions Maintains accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, including medical, psychiatry, case management and peer recovery services Utilizes a trauma-informed person-centered and culturally competent approach to client care Facilitates group therapy utilizing evidence-based curricula Develop client-centered treatment plans based on the needs, strengths, abilities and preferences of the client Assists clients in crisis by evaluating and providing appropriate interventions Engages family and supportive others in treatment, transition and discharge planning processes Evaluates clients’ progress towards goals, utilizes motivational enhancement strategies and determines appropriate interventions/modalities based on the individualized needs of each client Promotes participation in self-help and recovery support groups Maintains strong clinical and ethical boundaries with clients Qualifications Must be licensed in the State of Ohio –LCDC II or LCDC III, LSW, LPC, LISW, or LPCC. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related Human Service Field or equivalency. Bachelor or Master’s Degree with LPC or LSW Licensure preferred. Knowledge of the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) and ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria. Knowledge of and experience in diagnostic assessments, cognitive behavioral therapeutic modalities and trauma-informed care. Adopts a harm reduction philosophy and supports the utilization of medication-assisted treatments as a best practice. Proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including Office Suite, Outlook and Teams. Adept at learning and navigating electronic health record systems.
