13 contract weeks.

Weekly pay: $2,141–$2,212 per week.

Guaranteed hours: 36.0 per week.

Shift

3x12 nights. This travel assignment requires ICU experience and may involve floating to other ICUs and med-surg units as staffing needs arise.

Responsibilities

  • Provide holistic, patient- and family-centered nursing care across the adult and geriatric population in the ICU, applying standards of nursing practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, evaluation).
  • Develop and revise individualized plans of care, coordinate interdisciplinary care, and delegate appropriate activities to other care providers.
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage post-operative and critical care needs, and contribute to rapid decision-making within the ICU team.
  • Document care accurately in the electronic health record (Epic) and ensure timely communication with patients, families, and the care team.
  • Potentially float to other ICUs (e.g., TNICU, MICU) or med-surg units as staffing requires; maintain competence across units when floating.

Requirements

  • Current Minnesota RN license (active)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of ICU/critical care experience
  • Experience with fresh open heart surgery patients preferred
  • Proficiency in interpreting cardiac rhythms; experience with Impella and balloon pumps preferred
  • Epic experience required
  • Adult and geriatric patient population experience required
  • Ability to work in a hospital ICU setting and float as needed
