Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual patient or assigned group, following established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Assess patient status, monitor vitals, administer medications and treatments, and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient workflows.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.
• Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making in clinical scenarios.
• Document care accurately and maintain high standards of patient safety and quality.

Requirements

• Active RN license in California (or eligibility to practice in California)
• ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Ability to work nights and 12-hour shifts
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary staff
